Makeupscience! was created as a creative outlet, to write down my thoughts on makeup and other beauty-related things. Most of my close friends are male, so I felt that having a blog would be a great place to discuss these sort of things with people who were actually interested. I'll mostly be reviewing drugstore cosmetics, since it's what I can afford.
I'm 20 years old, living in Puerto Rico, and I'm currently working on a bachelor's degree in Biology. After that, I'm hoping for at least a master's degree in Neuroscience. I'm a very philosophical person, and I'm fascinated by all the ways the reality of life doesn't exactly match up with our expectations of how things should be. Nature will never cease to surprise you--if anything seems like a rule, there's always an exception. I'm especially fascinated by intersex conditions, and am a strong supporter of LGBT rights.
I like to play video games, though I don't play them as much as I would like to. Some of my favorites are Terraria and Team Fortress 2, and I have a soft spot for dating sims. I love tabletop RPGs, and am currently part of an Exalted campaign. I briefly considered naming this blog Glorious Solar Cosmetics.
